ATLANTA (Nov. 2) – Coming off a pair of key Atlantic Coast Conference home victories, the Georgia Tech volleyball team makes a pair of critical road trips this week.
Tech first will travel to 14th-ranked Clemson on Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. contest with the Tigers, before visiting Tallahassee for a showdown with Florida State at 1 p.m. Sunday.
The Jackets enter this week’s play with an overall record of 15-10, and have a 5-7 mark in league play, with just four matches remaining in ACC regular season play.
Clemson (23-1, 11-1 ACC), which enters the week tied with North Carolina atop the league standings, defeated the Jackets in four games in Atlanta earlier in the season in a match that saw Tech win the opening game and battle through a hard fought fourth game before falling 19-17.
Tech hopes to match its earlier success against the Seminoles (8-16, 1-10 ACC) after winning the earlier meeting in Atlanta in three games.
Sophomore outside hitter Maja Pachale (Schwerin, Germany) continues to be the force in the Jackets’ offensive attack, leading the team with 4.92 kill per game.
