THE FLATS – Georgia Tech football’s Oct. 23 game at Virginia will be televised nationally in primetime, the Atlantic Coast Conference and its television partners announced on Monday. The 43rd all-time matchup between the Yellow Jackets and Cavaliers will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, Va. and be televised nationally on ACC Network.
Following Saturday’s thrilling 31-27 triumph at Duke, Georgia Tech enters its bye week at 3-3 overall and 2-2 in ACC play. Virginia, which hosts Duke this Saturday, is 4-2 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
After the Oct. 23 contest at UVA, Georgia Tech returns home to face nationally ranked Virginia Tech for homecoming at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 30. As part of the homecoming festivities, Georgia Tech will honor its 1990 national championship team. Kickoff time for the GT-VT matchup will be announced next Monday (Oct. 18).
