Tech Track Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Status

NEW ORLEANS – Both the men’s and women’s Georgia Tech track and field squads earned the title of United States Track and Field and Cross Country All-Academic Team for the 2010-11 season.

The men’s squad finished the year with a team GPA of 3.16 while the women notched a 3.17 team GPA in 2010-11.

A total of 164 women’s institutions and 90 men’s institutions earned the All-Academic distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better with the BYU men and Texas women earning the honor of Indoor Track and Field Scholar Team of the Year and the Oklahoma women and Florida State men taking the outdoor honor.
