THE FLATS – Georgia Tech softball (5-4) completed the sweep of Michigan State on Saturday afternoon with a 10-3 victory over the Spartans before falling to Illinois 7-3 in the final game of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Georgia Tech celebrated honorary teammate Adrian Barhite pregame. Adrian is currently fighting Leukemia and the Yellow Jackets have adopted her as their honorary teammate this season.

E2 | Tech ends the inning but not before Michigan State plated another run to knot the score at 3-3.

With the score tied at 3-3 in the top of the fourth, Krzus sends out her second home run of the game, a three-run dinger to give Tech back the lead at 6-3.

In the top of the fourth, Awald launches a dinger over right center, scoring Roper to bring Tech within one at 3-2.
E4 | Illinois tacks on three more in the bottom of the fourth to push the score to 6-2.
