ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech men’s tennis team will continue its fall tournament slate this weekend by hosting the annual Georgia Tech Fall Invitational at the Bill Moore Tennis Center on Oct. 10-12.
The field for the event will feature a number of players from around the Southeast, including most of the Yellow Jackets’ roster. The tournament will include two singles draws and a pair of doubles draws, with consolation play scheduled in singles. Things will get under way on Friday morning at 8 a.m.
A number of Tech players are off to solid starts this fall, including sophomore Marko Rajevac, who captured the Green Singles Consolation Draw at the Baylor Intercollegiate in Wako, Texas, on Sept. 28, by recording a three-set win over rookie teammate Zachary Rath. Fellow sophomore Trevor McLeod owns a 4-2 record in two tournaments this fall, after reaching the semifinals of the Southern Intercollegiate in Athens, Ga., on Sept. 21.
Full tournament draws and results for the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational will be posted throughout the weekend at www.ramblinwreck.com. The opening draws for the event will be available Thursday afternoon.
