Tech Kicks Off ACC Play at Syracuse/Boston College

THE FLATS –Georgia Tech volleyball (11-2) opens Atlantic Coast Conference action this weekend, traveling to Syracuse and Boston College on Friday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 23, respectively. Both matches will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

The Yellow Jackets head to Syracuse, N.Y. to take on the Orange on Friday, Sept. 21 in their first ACC match of the season. First serve is set for 7 p.m. in the Women’s Building. Tech then heads to Chestnut Hill, Mass., facing off against the Eagles at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23.

The all-time series against the Orange is tied at 4-4 with neither team dropping a match at home. Tech leads the all-time series with Boston College 22-3. Tech topped both teams at home last season but dropped both matches on the road against its northern foes.

Tech is 0-1 on the road this season, dropping a match to Alabama in the Hampton Inn Bama Bash.
