Tech-Georgia Baseball Game at Turner Field Moved to Wednesday

ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech-Georgia baseball game scheduled for Tuesday, April 26, at Turner Field has been moved to Wednesday, April 27. First pitch remains at 7 p.m. and the game will still be televised by Fox Sports Net South.

Weather forecasts call for heavy rain and thunderstorms on Tuesday, prompting the move to Wednesday.

Tickets for Tuesday’s game will be honored on Wednesday. Additional tickets may be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at (404) 249-6400.

The Georgia Tech-Georgia baseball game is part of the Spring Baseball Classic, and all proceeds from the event will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The baseball game between the Yellow Jackets and Bulldogs originally scheduled for Wednesday in Athens will be rescheduled at a later date to be determined.
