More than 30 former Georgia Tech football standouts, from the 1940s through the present, will be honored at halftime of Sunday’s Georgia Force game against the New Orleans Voodoo.
The Georgia Force hosts Southern Division rival New Orleans Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Arena at Gwinnett Center, and the game will be nationally televised on NBC (WXIA-TV in Atlanta).
Some of the many Georgia Tech legends in attendance will be: Taz Anderson (1961 NFL Rookie of the Year with the St. Louis Cardinals), James Arnett, Ray Beck (All-America), Don Bessillieu (All-America), Jim Breland (All-America), George Brodnax (All-America), Chris Brown (All-America), John Davis (All-America), Charles Floyd, Greg Gathers (All-America), George Godsey, Joe Harris, Leon Hardeman (All-America), Drew Hill, Eddie Lee Ivery (former NCAA record-holder for single-game rushing yards), Kim King, Robert Lavette, Jerry Mays, Eddie McAshan, Wade Mitchell (All-America), George Morris (All-America), Larry Morris (All-America and Most Valuable Player in the NFL Championship Game for the Chicago Bears in 1963), Jeremy Muyres, Jon Muyres, Craig Page (All-America), Kelley Rhino, Randy Rhino (All-America), Nick Rogers, Phillip Rogers, Lucius Sanford (All-America), Doug Sims, Lenny Snow (All-America), Jim Stevens, Ryan Stewart, Ken Swilling (All-America), Ben Utt, Carl Vereen and Jack Williams.
