Tech Baseball Rescheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday Evening

April 8, 2006

BLACKSBURG, Va. — Saturday’s scheduled baseball action between No. 9 Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech has been delayed due to inclement weather and wet field conditions at English Field.

The Jackets and Hokies will resume Friday’s game at 7 p.m. on Saturday evening, with the final two games rescheduled to be played as a doubleheader on Sunday, with the first game starting at 11 a.m.

Friday’s contest was halted after just two pitches, and will be resumed from that point, with Danny Payne at the plate with a 1-1 count.
