Swim-Dive Heads to College Station

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech swimming and diving is on the road this weekend, headed to College Station, Texas for a tri-meet versus Texas A&M and Texas. The two-day meet will begin Friday, Nov. 3, and will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 4, kicking off at 3 p.m. on Friday with the 400-medley relay.  

The Jackets are coming off a thrilling meet against Florida State at home on Oct. 19, with the Yellow Jackets’ women securing an impressive 160-140 victory over the Seminoles and the 23rd-ranked Tech men dropping a hard-fought 151.5-148.5 loss to nationally ranked FSU.  

Standouts for the women include Anna Bradescu (1-meter dive), Vivien Rothwell (100 Back) and McKenzie Campbell (200 Fly). Another standout for the women was Sabyne Brisson who broke two school records (100 breast- 1:00.18, 200 breast 2:09.44). 

Standouts for the men include Berke Saka (200 Back, 200 IM), Nils Bognar (200 Back, 200 IM), and Chris Richardson (200 Back). Max Fowler had yet another dominating performance, securing first-place finishes in both the men’s 1-meter and 3-meter dive.
