There was a lot of exciting basketball and a lot of firsts that took place this weekend at the official opening McCamish Pavilion.

On Friday night, the Georgia Tech men hosted the building’s first game, and brought home a resounding 79-61 victory over Tulane. On Sunday afternoon, the Yellow Jacket women played their first game in their new home, and gave a spirited effort, although they didn’t fare as well, falling, 71-54, to Tennessee.
