Johnathan Langley was the bullpen catcher for the Yellow Jackets from 2015-18.
He was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers organization as a bullpen catcher in June 2018.
Langley has been pivotal in helping pitching coach Jason Howell with the pitching staff. He catches the pitchers in practice, individual throwing sessions, off-season throwing workouts and during pregame. He also is the catcher in the bullpen during games for the Yellow Jacket relievers as they prepare to enter the game.
Langley came to The Flats from nearby Dunwoody, where he played first base and caught behind the plate at Dunwoody High School. A member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Board, Langley participates in numerous NCAA and community outreach functions for the Yellow Jackets, including being a part of Georgia Tech’s first-ever “Jackets Without Borders” trip to Costa Rica in August 2017.
He graduated with a degree in business administration with a concentration in operations and supply chain management in May 2018.
