2024-25 ACC Academic Honor Roll
2025 (Sophomore): Enjoyed an all-conference, even All-American caliber season but did not qualify for awards due to missing 20 games with an injury…Led the team in batting average (.397), the best average by a Jacket since Chandler Simpson in 2022 … Slashed .397/.464/.596 over 40 games and 39 starts…Delivered 16 doubles (the highest rate of doubles per at-bat on the team) to help Georgia Tech lead the nation in doubles as a team … Also finished with five home runs, 39 runs and 43 RBI along with 17 walks and only 22 strikeouts…Made 34 starts as the everyday first basemen along with five starts at DH as he was returning from injury…Enjoyed the longest hitting streak of any Yellow Jacket last season, a 16 game streak that lasted from Feb. 23-April 25…Recorded multiple hits in 24 of the 39 games in which he had multiple plate appearances (61.5% of games)…Had he played enough games for official stats, he would have finished 20th in the nation with his .397 average and 3rd-best among Power 4 players, his doubles-per-game of 0.4 would have been 26th in the nation and 4th in the Power 4…Hitting mostly out of the three-hole in an offense that led the ACC in doubles, scoring, sac flies and slugging…hit five home runs, including the first of the season, a game-tying sixth inning solo shot on opening day vs. Old Dominion (Feb. 14)…Posted eight consecutive multi-hit games over the final five regular season games, both ACC Tournament games and the first game of the Oxford Regional (May 11-30), finishing with multiple hits in nine of the final 10 games of the season…never saw his batting average go below .333 for the year and never had it dip below .386 after the first two weekends of the season…Posted a career-best five RBI in a 15-7 victory over West Georgia (Feb. 26) hitting a two-run HR, a two-run single and adding in a SAC fly…returned from his injury against Virginia (April 25-27) and recorded an RBI in every game of the series, including a walk-off extra-innings home run to end the Jackets’ longest losing streak of the season…Made his postseason debut in the Oxford Regional, posting a .364 average, four runs scored and two of his six home runs for the season, leading all Tech starters with a .563 OBP for the Regional…Finished third on the team in OPS (1.061) behind Golden Spikes Semifinalists Drew Burress and Kyle Lodise…Hit a team-high .420 with runners on base…Accomplished all of this while swinging a hot dog bat.
2024 (Georgia Southern): Started 56 games for Georgia Southern playing mostly first base … led the Eagles in doubles (16) and walks (40) and finished second in average (.321), hits (68) and on-base percentage (.432) … made his collegiate debut against Georgia Tech, recording his first career hit and driving in his first RBI (Feb. 20) … hit his first career home run at Old Dominion (March 17) … recorded a season-best three hits on eight different occasions, most recently at Appalachian State (May 17) in the regular season finale.
High School: Attended Pope High School … Rated as the No. 44-rated first basemen and No. 86 overall prospect out of Georgia by Perfect Game … Named to the 2nd team 6A All-State his senior year after leading Pope HS in average, OBP and hits … holds the second-best career batting average in Pope HS history and is third in Pope HS single season hits … Named 3rd team All State (all classes) in 2022, 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-County and 1st Team All-Region.
