2022 (Sophomore): Made 14 relief appearances and one start … Finished as Tech’s second-lowest ERA out of the bullpen with a 3.97 … Also recorded a 2-0 record … Allowed 10 earned runs over 22.2 innings of work with 18 strikeouts and a .266 opponents batting average … Struck out four in 3.0 no-hit innings against Wright State (Feb. 19) for his first winning decision of the year … Allowed just one hit in 0.2 innings in the second game of the doubleheader against Virginia Tech (March 13) … Allowed no earned runs (four unearned) in 0.2 innings against Kennesaw State (March 23) … Needed just three pitches to get the final out against Troy (April 26) … Caught fire down the stretch, pitching 1.0 shutout outings at Clemson (May 7) and 2.0 shutout innings at Akron (May 16) … Provided a Herculean effort in the win-or-go-home game against Campbell (June 5) in the NCAA Knoxville Regional, pitching a career-long 6.1 innings in relief on a career-high 98 pitches, allowing just one run on three hits to get the victory and to allow Tech to save its bullpen for the evening finale.
2021 (Freshman): Made 16 relief appearances and one start on the mound … Finished second among relievers with a 3.77 ERA … Posted a 2-1 record and one save … Allowed just 12 earned runs in 28.2 innings of work, striking out 22 on the year … Held opponents to just a .250 batting average … Made his season debut against Georgia State (March 3), allowing no earned runs with one hit in 1.0 innings … Had his best performance of the season to earn his first save at Wake Forest (March 21), pitching 3.0 no-hit innings and striking out five … Made his lone start at Georgia State (April 20), allowing two runs on three hits in 3.0 innings of work en route to the 7-2 win for Tech … Earned his first win of the year with 1.0 shutout innings at then-No. 12 Notre Dame … Tossed 1.2 innings of no-hit work at Miami (May 14) … Pitched 2.2 crucial innings in the 14-inning game against Georgia (May 18), allowing just one run and striking out four … Allowed just one run on one hit in 3.0 innings against North Carolina (May 22) … Earned his second win of the season with 0.2 innings against Indiana State (June 4) in the NCAA Nashville Regional … Allowed one run on one hit in 2.0 innings against then-No. 4 Vanderbilt in the Nashville Regional.
2020 (Freshman): Made four relief appearances in the shortened 2020 season … Finished with 3.0 innings, striking out four and surrendering just two hits … Recorded a 6.00 ERA … Held opponents to a .167 batting average on the year … Made his first collegiate appearances with 0.2 innings of scoreless work against St. John’s (Feb. 16) … Had back-to-back shutout appearances with 1.0 innings against Ohio State (Feb. 23) and 1.0 innings against Tennessee Tech (March 3) … Allowed his two runs against Virginia Tech (March 8).
Before Tech: Ranked as a Perfect Game top-40 left-handed pitcher in Georgia … Works his fastball in the mid-to-high-80s, while pitching a tight slider and a highly confident changeup… Named a high honorable mention on the 2019 PG Preseason Underclassmen All-America team after earning honorable mention status in 2018 … A 36-time All-Tournament Team in travel ball, while also named to the 2017 Showcase Top Prospect Team … A three-time WWBA Champion (2018, 2019 twice) … A three-year letterwinner at Woodstock … Named captain for all three seasons … Helped lead the team to a regional championship in 2018 … Team was state runner-up in 2017 … In 2019, named first-team all-county, first-team all-state … Also earned county and region pitcher of the year honors … In 2018, named second-team all-state and first-team all-county … In 2019, pitched 66 innings to a 1.09 ERA, striking out 102 and allowing just 60 hits and 17 walks … Pitched to a 21-1 record over his final two seasons … Intends on majoring in business administration.
