2020 (Junior): Missed the shortened 2020 season due to injury.

2019 (Sophomore): Made only 10 appearances and nine starts before missing remainder of season with Tommy John Surgery … Finished the season with 48.1 innings of work and just 13 earned runs allowed for a 2.42 ERA … Was lone pitcher for Tech to hold opponents to a sub-.200 batting average (.199) … In ACC play alone, ranked fourth in ERA (3.06) and second in opponents’ batting average (.185) … Dominated early in a 7.0-inning start against Northwestern (March 2) where he allowed no runs, just four hits and punched out 13 batters, walking none … Overall, worked to a 4.1:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio on the season … Made lone relief appearance in season-opener against Illinois-Chicago (Feb. 15), going 1.0 innings, striking out three without a surrendering a hit … Allowed just one earned run against then-No. 3 and eventual Los Angeles Super Regional host UCLA (Feb. 24), striking out seven and walking zero in 5.0 innings … Made three shutout starts, including another dominate outing at Boston College (April 14), surrendering just two hits and three walks, while punching nine in the decision victory … Was pulled after 1.0 innings against Clemson (April 28) in what would be his final appearance of 2019.

2018 (Freshman): Appeared in 14 games for the Jackets, making 11 starts on the mound … Posted a 5-4 record with a 6.04 ERA … Struck out 56 batters in 53.2 innings … His 11 starts and 56 strikeouts were both third on the team … Took over the midweek starter role in March, going 4-2 over six starts … Made his debut on the mound versus Bradley (Feb. 17) … Made his first collegiate start in game one of the doubleheader against Dartmouth (Feb. 24) … Tallied three quality starts on the season … Pitched a season-high 7.0-complete innings in a win over Georgia Southern (March 27) … Also recorded a season-high 10 strikeouts in the home win against Georgia Southern (March 27) … Struck out eight at Mercer (April 10), seven versus Radford (May 6) and six against No. 20 Georgia (April 25) … Earned his first collegiate win going 5.0-scoreless innings with one hit versus No. 6 Auburn (March 20) … Tallied 7.0-scoreless innings over four hit baseball in a home win over Georgia Southern (March 27) … Allowed five runs on seven hits, while striking out eight in the road win at Mercer (April 10) … Surrendered four runs on seven hits and five strikeouts to earn the win at home against Kennesaw State (April 18) … Also pitched 6.0-scoreless innings to pick up the shutout win versus Radford (May 6) in the series finale … Threw over 100 pitches three times on the season – at No. 17 Georgia (April 3), versus No. 20 Georgia (April 25) and against Radford (May 6).

Before Tech: A two-sport athlete at Woodstock High School … Lettered for four years in baseball for head coach Jeff Brown … Was also a three-time letterwinner on the basketball team … Ranked as high as the No. 2 left-handed pitcher and the No. 16 overall prospect in the class of 2017 from the state of Georgia by Perfect Game … Also ranked nationally as high as the No. 21 lefty and No. 197 overall prospect by PG … Tabbed a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game honorable mention all-American and a southeast all-region first team member in 2017 … Recognized as a 2016 PG underclassmen high honorable mention all-American as a junior and a 2015 underclassmen all-American honorable mention his sophomore season … Named to the 2017 Georgia Dugout Club AAAAAAA all-state first team … Was also named an Atlanta Braves 400 Club Metro Atlanta All-Star … A first-team all-region and first-team all-county selection in 2017 … Was also second-team all-county honoree in 2016 as a junior … Tabbed the 2017 Cherokee County Pitcher of the Year by the Cherokee Ledger News his senior season … Three-time Woodstock High School Pitcher of the Year award winner … A Perfect Game Super25 Most Valuable Pitcher in 2016 … Led his high school team to the Georgia 7A state championship game in 2017, finishing as runner-up … Pitched two complete game shutouts in the 2017 state high school playoffs for Woodstock … Participated in the 2016 National Showcase event where he was part of the FB 90 Plus group, the top-10 velocity group at first base and was rated a PG Grade 10 overall … Named the 6-4-3 Pitcher of the Year in 2016 and 2015 … Was a part of five championships with the 6-4-3 Cougars, winning the 2016 17U PG Super25 National Championship, the 2016 18U PG Evoshield Classic, the 2016 17U PG Evoshield Classic, the 2016 17U Perfect Game-East Cobb Invitational and the 2015 WWBA 2017 Grads National Championship Qualifier … Named the tournament most valuable pitcher at both the 2016 17U Super25 and the 2016 17U Perfect Game -East Cobb Invitational events …Graduated with honors … A Lamp of Knowledge recipient.

Personal: Has an older brother … Father, Brian, played baseball at Wake Forest (1988-92) … Mother, Stacey (Boggs), played women’s basketball at Wake Forest (1990-92) … Enjoys playing basketball with friends and is a huge fan of “The Office” … Chose Tech because of its academic reputation, the alumni network and the opportunity to compete in the ACC … Plans to major in business administration.
