2023 (RS Sophomore): Saw action in 25 games on the season, most of which were in relief, proving to be Tech’s most reliable arm … Held a team-best 3.73 ERA, 55 strikeouts, and a 6-2 record on the season … Recorded a 6-1 record and 2.72 ERA in relief appearances alone … Held opponents to a .212 batting average, led the team in win-loss percentage with .750, and logged 50.2 innings on the season … Recorded the lowest runs, earned runs, hits, walks, doubles, and home runs allowed … Opened his first healthy against Miami (Ohio) (Feb. 18), turning in 2.0 innings of no-hit, two-strikeout work … Struck out five in 2.0 innings and allowed one hit against Tennessee Tech (Feb. 24) … Got his first decision of the season against Kennesaw St. (March 1), going 2.0 innings of one-hit ball … Came in relief against Georgia (March 5) to pitch 3.0 innings, surrendering just two hits and no walks while punching out three to get his second decision of the year … Went 2.1 hitless innings with two strikeouts against UNC (April 7) to earn his third decision of the season … Made his second start of the season on the mound against Georgia St. (April 18), throwing 2.0 scoreless innings and striking out four in the process … Logged a season-high six strikeouts against Miami (April 23) … Earned his fourth win of the season against Gardner-Webb (April 28), tossing 2.2 innings of two-hit, two-strikeout ball, surrendering only a solo home run … Recorded his fifth win of the season, going 2.2 innings of no-hit work and striking out three overall against Pittsburgh (May 7) … Turned in 3.0 innings of two-hit work and just one unearned run scored against then-No. 10 Duke (May 12) … Helped shut down then-No. 10 Duke (May 14) by throwing 3.0 innings with just one hit and two strikeouts, also earning his sixth decision of the season.

2022 (Sophomore): Redshirted.

2021 (Freshman): Made just seven appearances on the mound in relief before suffering a season-ending injury … Recorded a 1-0 record and a 10.38 ERA in limited 4.1 innings … Made his season debut with 1.0 innings of one-hit work against Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 20), striking out two … Earned his lone win of the season at then-No. 8 NC State (Feb. 28), allowing just one run and striking out two in 1.0 innings … Made his final appearance of the season on April 10 at then-No. 12 Notre Dame.

2020 (Freshman): Made just three appearances in relief in the shortened 2020 season … Made his collegiate debut against St. Peter’s (Feb. 14), going 1.0 innings and allowing just one hit … Pitched an no-hit inning, striking out one, against Ohio State (Feb. 21) … Surrendered four runs to then-No. 4 Georgia (Feb. 29) … Only allowed two hits in 2.1 innings in 2020.

Before Tech: A 6-3 right-handed pitcher from Calhoun, Ga. with a “large build and frame” that works his fastball in the low-90s … Named a southeast regional 2019 Perfect Game Preseason All-American after earning the honorable mention award in 2016, 2017 and 2018 … A nine-time All-Tournament selection and 2018 WWBA Champion … A four-year letterwinner at Calhoun … Named a captain his final two seasons … Earned selection to the 2019 Georgia Dugout Club All-State team, as well as the Chattanooga Times Free Press’ “Best of the Preps” baseball team in 2018 and 2019 … An all-region selection in 2016, 2018 and 2019 as well as the all-county MVP in 2018 and 2019 … Recorded 92 strikeouts his senior year – good for ninth all-time in a single season at Calhoun … Also lettered four years as a center on Calhoun’s football team, being named a captain his final season … helped lead the football team to regional championships from 2015-18 and to a state championship in 2017 (played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium) … Named a GACA and Atlanta Journal Constitution All-State selection in 2018 … Also named to the Chattanooga Times Free Press’ “Best of the Preps” football team in 2017 and 2018 … An all-region selection in 2017 and 2018 … Finished in the top 5 of his graduating class, as well as graduating as an AP Scholar with distinction … Earned the football team’s academic award.

Personal: Has one younger sibling … Father, Steve, graduated from Georgia Tech in 1996 … Graduated from Georgia Tech in 2023 with a degree in biology with a pre-health option and will begin medical school at Emory after the completion of the 2024 season.
