Scott Schnugg Advances to Finals of Consolations of ACC Indoor Championships

Georgia Tech’s Scott Schnugg advanced to the finals of the consolations of the ACC Indoor Championships, defeating Nick Methayler, 6-0, 6-1 and the Yellow Jacket’s Noah Tyler, 6-0, 6-4 on the third day of competition at the ACC Indoor Championships in Winston-Salem, NC. Schnugg will now face Andy Metzler of North Carolina in the finals.

In other action, Jose Muguruza fell to second-seeded Doug Stewart of Virginia, 6-0, 6-1 in the semifinals of the main draw in the tournament.

The Yellow Jackets return to action on Jan. 31 when they begin their dual season against Georgia Southern at 1 p.m. at the Bill Moore Tennis Center.
