2002-03: Made an immediate impact as a rookie for the Yellow Jackets in 2003, playing in 11 tournaments and recording two top-20 finishes and a top-10 placement on the year … Steadily improved throughout the year, while playing one of the nation[apos]s toughest individual schedules according to the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index … Saved his best outing for the ACC Championship, as he tied for fifth with an even-par score of 76-69-71–216 … The second-round score of 69 at the ACCs was a season-best … First top-20 finish of the year came at the Nelson Invitational, as he tied for 19th with a 1-over-par score of 72-70-72–213, helping lead Tech to a season-best team finish of third … Was fourth on the team with having 70 percent of his rounds count toward Tech[apos]s team score … Ranked fourth on the team with a 74.97 stroke average and carded eight rounds of par or better on the year, which was tied for the fourth-most on the team.
