Before Tech (Wake Forest): Served as a utility player during his time at Wake Forest, making 51 appearances on the mound and 114 at-bats … Tossed 44 career innings in 2021, fanning 67 batters. Offensively, recorded 22 hits, five doubles, eight home runs and 22 RBIs … Made 24 appearances on the mound, including one start at Liberty (April 7)… Finished with the second-most appearances on the squad as well as tied for eighth in the ACC… Posted a 3-1 record with an 8.68 ERA in 18.2 innings… Threw a career-high tying two scoreless innings in a midweek victory over Charlotte (March 16), striking out four batters while allowing zero hits or runs. Earned first win of the season in Wake Forest’s ACC-opening victory against Notre Dame (Feb. 27)… Blanked Appalachian State (March 30) in 1.1 innings for second win of campaign… Struck out the side in a midweek victory versus Davidson (April 27). High School: Attended Blessed Trinity Catholic HS … Rated as the No. 285 overall prospect by Perfect Game, as well as the ninth-ranked first baseman in the country and No. 26 prospect from Georgia … Won the 2016 Connie Mack World Series with the East Cobb Yankees, and finished as runners-up in the Perfect Game 18U National Wood Bat Championship … Won high school state titles in 2014 and 2015, and finished as runners-up in 2016 and 2017 … Had a perfect 17-0 career record on the mound including a 9-0 record and 1.17 ERA in 2017, and didn’t allow an earned run in 2015 … Hit .303 with 10 doubles and four homers as a senior.

Personal: Father, Rob, played basketball at USMMA and in the USBL … Uncles Russ (Albright) and Richard (Ramapo) also played basketball in college … Awarded the SOAR award at Wake Forest, which recognizes students who have contributed to the quality of student life during their time at the university.
