Regional Tickets on Sale

Tickets for this weekend’s NCAA Atlanta Regional baseball tournament, featuring top-seeded Georgia Tech as well as Texas Tech, Mississippi State, and Jacksonville State, are on sale now, through the Tech ticket office (1.888.TECH.TIX) and on-line at www.ramblinwreck.com.

The NCAA Atlanta Regional will be held Friday through Sunday at Russ Chandler Stadium on the Tech campus, with Tech’s first game scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. versus Jacksonville State.

Tournament ticket books for the regional, covering all seven sessions, are available for advance purchase, priced at $84 for reserved chairback seats and $70 for reserved bench seats.

With Georgia Tech, the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season champions, earning the No. 4 national seed in the NCAA field of 64, the Yellow Jackets are guaranteed to host an NCAA Super Regional, should Tech advance.

NCAA Super Regionals are scheduled for June 11-13. The winner of the Atlanta Regional will be paired with the winner of the Athens, Ga., Regional, which includes Georgia, Clemson, Birmingham Southern and Middle Tennessee State.

Georgia Tech fans who purchase full tournament ticket books for the NCAA Atlanta Regional will receive first priority to purchase tickets for the NCAA Super Regional, should Tech advance.
