Rabbitt Places 19th to Lead Tech at the Chile Pepper Invitational

Fayetteville, Ark. – Kyle Rabbitt placed 19th in his second meet of the year to lead the Georgia Tech men’s cross country team to a 14th place finish at the Chile Pepper Invitational. Ann Armsby took home a 32nd place victory to lead the women to a 13th place finish.

The Georgia Tech men tallied 379 points on the day to take home a fourteenth place finish. Rabbitt led the men with his top-20 performance. For the Yellow Jackets, Rob Kuhn and Nazar Trilisky were the second and third finishers for Tech. Ryan Pfeffer, Adam Jones, Blake Fertitta, Clark Rivers and Chris dos Santos finished out the runners for Tech.

On the women’s side, Ann Armsby and Mary Chind continued to pace the Jackets taking home 36th and 38th respectively. Elena Linn, Emily Yandle and Nisha Kurian finished out the top-five for the Jackets. Jenny Lentz, Maria Hampton and Rachel Heim finished out the runners for the Rambling Wreck.

Tournament host Arkansas took the win for the men, as Southern Methodist claimed the women’s top spot. Compete results from the meet are available at www.chilepeperfestival.org.
