College Park, Md. – Kyle Rabbitt placed 14th in the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship in College Park, Md. to earn all-conference honors. Rabbitt paced the Tech men’s team who finished the afternoon in eighth place. Mary Chind led the women’s squad who placed tenth.
Rabbitt’s fourteenth place finish was good enough to earn him all-conference honors. Last year, Rabbitt finished in eleventh place, however, all-conference honors were only awarded to the top-10 finishers. With the addition of Miami and Virginia, the conference extended the conference honors to the top-14.
Senior Neil McDonagh, who was battling a minor injury, was the Jackets’ second top finisher. Rob Kuhn, Nazar Trilisky and Ryan Pfeffer rounded out the top-5 for Georgia Tech.
In the women’s race, Mary Chind continued her excellent running this season. The sophomore paced the Yellow Jackets. Freshmen Elena Linn and Nisha Kurian took second and third place honors amongst Tech’s team. Ann Armsby and Emily Yandle round out the top-5 for Tech’s women.
The Jackets next race will be the NCAA South Region Championships November 13.
