Week 2 of the 2015 NFL Preseason was a quiet one for Georgia Tech’s 24 active #ProJackets. Rookie receiver Darren Waller recorded three catches for 21 yards, including a touchdown in Baltimore’s preseason loss at Philadelphia (VIDEO: Darren Waller Talks First Career Touchdown).
Denver WR Demaryius Thomas made his 2015 preseason debut for the Broncos, hauling in three passes for 24 yards. On the defensive side, four #ProJackets tallied three tackles – Miami DE, Emmanuel Dieke, Detroit S Isaiah Johnson, Baltimore LB Daryl Smith, and Denver DT Vance Walker.
In other #ProJackets news, CB Rod Sweeting was released by the Buffalo Bills but has since been picked up by the Dallas Cowboys.
The 2015 NFL Regular Season kicks off Sept. 10 with Pittsburgh vs. New England. Georgia Tech’s 2015 season is quickly approaching as the Yellow Jackets host Alcorn State on Sept. 3 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
