Georgia Tech’s Win Today Gives The Yellow Jackets…

… a record of 17-6 overall, 5-4 in the ACC

… an even 200 wins all-time in ACC play (since 1980), a record of 200-265

… a 171-137 record in 10 seasons under head coach Paul Hewitt

… a 35-50 all-time record vs. NC State

… four wins in the last six meetings with the Wolfpack, but just the first victory over State since 2008

… a 7-11 record vs. NCSU under Paul Hewitt

… a 544-188 all-time record in Alexander Memorial Coliseum

… seven straight wins in AMC and a 12-1 record within the friendly confines this season

… an all-time record of 1,233-1,080 in 92 seasons of basketball

… Tech played its fourth game decided by two points or less; in fact, four of Tech’s last seven games have been decided by two points and the Yellow Jackets are 3-1 in those games

… Tech improved to 2-4 this season in games it trailed at halftime

… Tech has not allowed an opponent to shoot 50 percent or better this season

… Tech had more turnovers than assists for the fourth time in its last five games

… Tech shot better than 50 percent for the third time in its last four games

… Tech was out-rebounded for the second straight game

… Tech shot less than 60 percent from the free throw line for the fourth time in the last six games

… Tech’s 22 turnovers were its most since committing 24 errors Dec. 29 vs. Winston-Salem State
