“The girls played extremely well both days,” said Georgia Tech head coach Bryan Shelton. “Today we were able to get it done in both doubles and singles, and I’m happy that we’ve been able to maintain some momentum as we head into more tough matches next weekend.”

Tech breezed through doubles to take a quick 1-0 lead in the match. The Yellow Jackets’ eighth-ranked duo of Kristi Miller and Whitney McCray dispatched Nicola Slater and Carolin Walter, 8-3, before Alison Silverio and Amanda Craddock earned an 8-5 win over Lauren Macfarlane and Ania Rynarzewska at the second doubles slot to capture the deciding point.

Tarryn Rudman and Kirsten Flower then completed the doubles sweep for the Jackets with an 8-4 victory against Miranda Foley and Jessica Wente at the third doubles line.
