Atlanta – The Yellow Jackets, ranked No. 27 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, return to the court Saturday in Tempe, Ariz. when they face Arizona State at noon at the Whiteman Tennis Center.
The Jackets are 2-0 all-time against the Sun Devils, including last season’s 4-1 win in Atlanta and a 4-3 win at Arizona State in 2004.
The Jackets will be playing in their first match since defeating Radford, 5-2, and Georgia Southern, 7-0, in their season-opening double header on Feb. 3. Jordan DeLass and George Gvelesiani beat both of their opponents in straight sets and, the Jackets won every doubles match to lift Tech to a 2-0 start.
Tech returns to their home court Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. to host No. 1 Georgia. The match will be held indoors at the Bill Moore Tennis Center located on Georgia Tech’s campus.
