Opening Statement
“I was really impressed with Georgia Tech’s size and athleticism. Their front line is just terrific. I thought we did a pretty good job against [Bridget] Ardossi, who I think is one of the best players in the ACC. Our problem was we gave Alex Montgomery way too many open looks. Our biggest problem has been that we hit a stretch where we just can’t score. We’re not very deep and we’re a young team.”
On Erin Anthony’s 26 point performance
“She is a preseason All-Patriot League player. She’s currently the leading rebounder and one of the top two scorers in the league. She’s had some big games for us and she is very capable, but she’s been banged up a lot. She had a really tough game against Oklahoma early this year.
“Honestly, comparing Oklahoma to Georgia Tech I think Georgia Tech is every bit as good. I really like Georgia Tech’s balance. I really like how they play together. They just keep coming at you. There’s not a big drop off when they go to the bench either.”
