THE FLATS – Georgia Tech has finalized its coverage plans for Wednesday’s National Signing Day for football.
Georgia Tech’s newest crop of football student-athletes will be announced during a live National Signing Day broadcast, beginning on Wednesday at 9 a.m. The National Signing Day broadcast will be streamed on Facebook Live, via the official Facebook account of Georgia Tech athletics (www.facebook.com/GTAthletics).
Hosted by the “Voice of the Yellow Jackets” Andy Demetra, the National Signing Day broadcast will feature in-depth scouting reports on each of the Yellow Jackets’ signees with the assistant coaches that led their recruiting efforts, as well as interviews with director of athletics Todd Stansbury and head coach Paul Johnson.
Due to construction in the Edge/Rice buildings at Bobby Dodd Stadium, Georgia Tech is unable to host a live audience for Wednesday’s National Signing Day broadcast. However, the Facebook Live broadcast can be viewed worldwide without a subscription or user account.
In addition to the Facebook Live broadcast, Georgia Tech athletics will have full digital coverage of Wednesday’s National Signing Day at the official website of Georgia Tech athletics (www.ramblinwreck.com) and across the official social media accounts of Georgia Tech football – Twitter (@GeorgiaTechFB), Facebook (@GTFootball) and Instagram (@GeorgiaTechFB).
