Nat Estes Tabbed CoSIDA Academic All-District

THE FLATS — Georgia Tech track and field student-athlete Nat Estes was tabbed to the 2015 Capital One Academic All-District 4 Team announced Friday by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The Kennesaw, Ga., native owned a 3.90 cumulative GPA and graduated in May 2015 with a degree in aerospace engineering. The Academic All-District honor marks the first of his career and he is now eligible for Academic All-America consideration.

Aa a part of Georgia Tech’s relay success, Estes helped the DMR team take second (10:10.65) at the Vanderbilt Indoor Invite and the 4x800m relay team place fifth (7:46.05) at the Doc Hale Invite. He ran a season-best 800 meters time of 1:52.26 at the GT Invite, a season-best mile time of 4:17.38 at the Vanderbilt Invite, and a season-best 1,500m time of 4:04.38 at the Tiger Track Classic.
