GREENSBORO, N.C. – Georgia Tech student-athletes Olivia Moore, Nicole Fegans, Liz Galarza & Andrew Kent were named to the 2021 All-ACC Academic Teams for indoor track & field announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
Moore (pole vault), Fegans (5K) and Kent (3K) garnered second team all-American honors in their respective events this past indoor season. Moore set a school record of 4.32m in the pole vault in a bronze medal performance at ACC’s. Fegans (3K), Galarza (5K) and Kent (3K) each collected second team all-ACC honors at indoor championships. Kent also produced a first team all-ACC effort in the men’s 5K.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
