Michael Isenhour Toy Drive Kicks Off November 16

Nov. 5, 2015

THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech Student-Athlete Advisory Board will host the 15th annual Michael Isenhour Toy Drive from Nov. 16-Dec. 4. The main collection for the toy drive will take place Nov. 28 prior to the Georgia game at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Fans are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy or a monetary gift to the game. Student-athletes representing Georgia Tech’s athletic teams will be stationed at every gate entrance to collect toys for charitable donation.

Collection bins will be available in the lobby of the Georgia Tech Athletic Association (corner of Bobby Dodd Way and Techwood Drive) during normal business hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) from Nov. 16-Dec. 4.

Monetary donations are also being accepted through the Georgia Tech Athletic Association. To donate, write a check to “Georgia Tech Athletic Association” and write “Michael Isenhour Toy Drive” on the memo line. Mail the check to:

Donations may also be made online through RamblinWreck.com by clicking this link.

The Toy Drive is named in honor of former Georgia Tech basketball letterman and Student-Athlete Advisory Board member Michael Isenhour, who died in 2002 following a battle with leukemia. Isenhour spearheaded the first Toy Drive in 2001 to help families affected by 9/11, and since then, SAAB has continued the annual project in his memory.
