THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech men’s tennis team has unveiled its 2026 fall schedule. The schedule features five collegiate tournaments with three ITA fall championships from September through November, including the ITA Men’s Southeast Regional Championships hosted on The Flats at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.
Tech will begin its slate at Georgia Gwinnett College for the Grizzly Invite on September 11-12. Select individuals will qualify or receive a wild-card entry into the 2026 ITA Men’s All-American Championships, with pre-qualifying set to begin on September 19.
The eight main draw quarterfinalists and two feed-in consolation finalists from the ITA All-American Championships will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship, while the four main draw semifinalists and consolation champion will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship. The Jackets will also have entries into the Carolina Pro Classic, a World Tennis Tour tournament held in Columbia, South Carolina, beginning on September 21.
GT will then compete in the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic in Montgomery, Alabama, and the Black and Gold Invitational at Vanderbilt from October 2-4. Tech hosts the 2026 edition of the ITA Men’s Southeast Regional Championships from October 14-19, marking the second time in four seasons that Tech has hosted the event.
The Jackets follow up by competing in the inaugural NCAA Division I Invitational as part of TennisFest 2026 in Rome, Georgia. Tech will then send players to the final ITA event, the ITA Men’s South Sectional Championships in Gainesville, Florida, from November 5-8, with some players competing in the Alabama Four-in-the-Fall dual in Tuscaloosa the same weekend.
The squad will aim to feature qualifiers for the 2026 NCAA Men’s Singles and Doubles Championships, which will be held from November 17-22 in Athens, Georgia.
The squad features six returners with two new additions, including freshmen Mason Taube from Georgia and Lucas Yunez from Ecuador.

Full Steam Ahead
Full Steam Ahead is a $500 million fundraising initiative to achieve Georgia Tech athletics’ goal of competing for championships at the highest level in the next era of intercollegiate athletics.
