Lynnette Moster Named ACC Player of the Week

Georgia Tech’s Lynnette Moster was named this week’s Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week after leading the Yellow Jackets to shutout victories over North Carolina and NC State.

The Liberty, Ind., native posted her first double-double performance of the weekend in Georgia Tech’s 3-0 win over North Carolina, recording 25 kills and 15 digs. She hit .429 in the match, while adding three assists and one solo block.

The next day, the senior outside hitter notched 16 kills and 9 digs in the Jackets’ 3-0 victory over NC State. In addition, Moster recorded four service aces and dished out three assists versus the Wolfpack, while hitting .583 in the match.

Moster hit .479 over the weekend, averaging 6.83 kills per game and 4.00 digs per game.

This is the sixth time in Moster’s career that she has earned the award.
