Wood threw her second consecutive complete-game shutout against Georgia Southern on Wednesday, allowing just two hits and no runs, pushing her consecutive scoreless innings pitched streak to 17.1. Against the 25th-ranked Hokies on Saturday, Wood was the tough-luck loser in the circle, scattering five hits, four runs, no earned runs, and struck out four in a 4-1 defeat.
