Krummenacker and Taylor Advance at U.S. Olympic Trials

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A pair of 1998 Georgia Tech graduates, David Krummenacker and Angelo Taylor, posted qualifying marks in the 800 meters and 400-meter hurdles to advance to the semifinals at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Friday night at the Alex G. Spanos Sports Complex.

Krummenacker, a two-time NCAA national champion in the 800 at Tech, posted a time of 1:48.09 to move on to tomorrow night at 9:10 p.m. ET.

Taylor, a Gold medallist in the 400m hurdles in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, finished ninth in the quarterfinals with a time of 49.78 to advance to tomorrow night at 7:20 p.m. ET.

The U.S. Olympic Trials will be televised on NBC (WXIA-Atlanta) from 8 p.m.-9 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 10th. For additional meet information, including results, go to U.S. Olympic Trials Schedule and Results.
