Kidd Moves On at AT&T USA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – Ashlee Kidd placed 15th in the first round of the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.79 for the Georgia Tech track and field team at the AT&T USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on the IU Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

Kidd, a senior from St. Petersburg, Fla., is running in a Tech uniform for the last time in her illustrious career. She will continue her run towards a National title tomorrow at 6:45 p.m. CT.

Junior Elena Linn also competed at the meet in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Linn placed 26th with a time of11:00.78 but did not qualify for the semifinal.

Junior Shantia Moss will compete tomorrow at 4:45 in the 100-meter hurdles.
