Kidd Leads Tech on Day One of Tyson Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Ashlee Kidd placed first in the women’s 400-meter dash to Georgia Tech on day one of the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. on Friday.

Kidd, a senior from St. Petersburg, Fla., ran a NCAA qualifying time of 53.37 in the 400. She also placed 14th in 60-meter dash with a time of 7.49.

Shantia Moss, a junior from Tamarac, Fla., placed second overall in the women’s 60-meter hurdles with a NCAA qualifying time of 8.16.

Senior Jenny Sims placed 15th in the women’s mile with a season-best time of 5:00.37. Junior Elena Linn came in 18th in the mile run with a time of 5:01.55.
