Kele Eveland Named ACC Volleyball Player of the Week

Georgia Tech setter Kele Eveland was named this week’sAtlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week. The junior led the No. 23 Yellow Jackets (16-2, 2-0) to two wins in their first weekend of conference play, defeating Maryland and Virginia.

The Grand Rapids, Mich., native dished out 14.43 assists over the two games and moved into second place on Tech’s all-time career assists list with 3, 610. Eveland’s efforts resulted in a .356 team hitting percentage and a team average of 17.86 kills per game for the weekend. She also added 3.00 digs per game in addition to 0.71 blocks per game.

Eveland marks the third time this season that a player from Georgia Tech has been named ACC Volleyball Player of the Week.
