Jones Prepared for Riviera/ITA All-American Championships

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s tennis junior Kenya Jones will open the qualifying round of the 2018 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships on Tuesday in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Qualifying singles runs from Oct. 2-3 with main draw action beginning on Oct. 4.

Two rounds of qualifying singles will take place on Tuesday with Jones opening play at 1:30 p.m. EST facing Mimi Levine of Penn. A win would pit the Yellow Jacket against either Lexi Keberle (Wisconsin) or Olivia Hauger (California), to be played in the second round on Tuesday.

Jones will need to win two matches on Tuesday and advance through Wednesday’s final qualifying match to secure a spot in main draw singles, which are set to begin on Thursday.

The qualifying and main draw matches will be played at the Riviera Tennis Club.
