CLEMSON, S.C. – Georgia Tech track and field sophomore Jeremy Greenwald won the 1500-meter invite on the first day at the Bob Pollock Invitational at Clemson’s Rock Norman Track & Field Complex.

Greenwald finished the race in 3:49.97, almost four seconds ahead of the competition. Teammate Joseph Stowe took fifth in the same event in a time of 3:58.40.  

Zack Fanelty placed second in the 800-meter invitational with a time of 1:50.37 and Cole Jackob followed in fifth place (1:51.03).

Laura Serres and Morgan Jackson ran the women’s 1500-meter invitational and finished seventh (4:44.58) and ninth (4:46.12), respectively.

The Jackets continue action at the Bob Pollock Invite Saturday, beginning with another round of the 1500 meters at 10:50 a.m. Live results are available via www.timinginc.com.
