Jackets Wrap Up Husky Classic

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Georgia Tech track and field team sent a small group of Yellow Jackets to compete Saturday in the Husky Classic. Jeremy Greenwald highlighted Saturday’s competition with a third place performance in the mile out of 63 competitors with a personal-best time of 4:01.90.

Nat Estes took 15th in the men’s 800 with a time of 1:52.92 and Cole Jackob crossed the line in 22nd (1:53.61) of 50 runners.

Brandon Lasater and Zack Fanelty competed in the men’s 800 meter invite, finishing 11th and 12th, respectively. Lasater logged a time of 1:53.73 and Fanelty finished in 1:55.96.

The Jackets are back in action Feb. 22 at the Alex Wilson Invitational, which is their last tune up before the ACC Championships Feb. 27-March 1 in Clemson, S.C.
