ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech men’s and women’s track and field teams will travel to Lexington, Ky, for the Rod McCravy Memorial, Jan. 27-28, hosted by the University of Kentucky, in Nutter Field House. The indoor meet will begin on Friday at 6 p.m. with the women’s pole vault.
Five Yellow Jackets have attained NCAA Provisional marks this indoor season. Senior Brandy Depland returned to action this past Saturday at the Clemson Invitational and tallied the nation’s second longest mark in the women’s triple jump with a NCAA mark of 43 feet, 4 ¼ inches.
Junior Ashlee Kidd currently holds the nation’s fifth-fastest time in the women’s 400 meters with a NCAA mark of 54.09.
Sophomore Jerome Miller tied the indoor school record in the men’s high jump last time he competed at Kentucky with a NCAA Provisional mark of 7 feet, 1 ¾ inches, placing him eighth on the nation’s top marks list.
Sophomore Shantia Moss clocked a NCAA Provisional time of 8.33 in the women’s 60-meter high hurdles in Tech’s opening meet at the Clemson Opener and currently stands 10th in the NCAA.
Senior Andriane Lapsley holds the nation’s 12th-best mark in the women’s 60-meter dash with a NCAA time of 7.42.
