AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. – Georgia Tech football arrived in north Florida on Tuesday in advance of Saturday’s TaxSlayer Bowl versus Kentucky (11 a.m. – ESPN).

The Yellow Jackets reconvened in Atlanta on Monday evening following a five-day holiday break. They held their final on-campus practice of the season on Tuesday morning before the short flight to Jacksonville.

After landing in Jacksonville, the Yellow Jackets traveled to Amelia Island, where their headquarters for the week are located, and met with local media.

Jacksonville native Step Durham also took a moment to welcome Georgia Tech fans to his hometown.

Highlights of the evening included fierce competition in the players’ hospitality suite and a terrific seafood dinner, courtesy of the TaxSlayer Bowl.
