ATLANTA – No. 21 Georgia Tech (29-7, 2-1 ACC) will host No. 24 Florida State (20-12, 3-2 ACC) for a three-game series in an Atlantic Coast Conference showdown in Atlanta this Easter weekend, March 26-27. Tech and FSU will play a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday, both days starting at Noon at Glenn Field.
The Yellow Jackets are 16-3 over their last 19 ballgames and are leading the ACC in hitting (.302), runs scored (194), RBI (164), stolen bases (95), slugging percentage (.398) and on base percentage (.382).
Tech appears in the rankings for the eighth consecutive week, the longest in program history. The Jackets are No. 21 in the USA Today/NFCA Top 25 Poll and No. 23 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll.
Florida State and Georgia Tech were picked one and two in the 2005 ACC Preseason Poll by the league’s seven coaches.

Series with Florida State The Jackets and Seminoles have accounted for the last three ACC Championships and met in last year’s ACC title game, with FSU winning 3-1 in the title game in Tallahassee. FSU holds a 35-6 advantage in 41 meetings. The Jackets have dropped nine straight to the Seminoles, including four games last season.
