Jackets Head to Tennessee Relays

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech track and field is back in action on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8 when it heads to Knoxville, Tenn. for the 50th running of the Tennessee Relays.

Friday’s competition kicks off at 2:45 p.m. with the 400m hurdles. The action will be broadcast live on SEC Network+ on Friday from 3-7:40 p.m. Saturday’s competition starts at 10 a.m. with the women’s discus. Saturday’s broadcast is slated for 12-4 p.m.

The Jackets come off a strong showing at the Florida Relays, competing among 10 nationally-ranked teams. The squad posted 13 career bests over the three days of competition. William Solomon and Ksenia Novikova highlighted the weekend with second-place finishes in the men’s long jump and women’s pole vault, respectively.
