BATON ROUGE, La. – Georgia Tech women’s tennis wrapped up the fall season at the Tiger Fall Classic with a difficult day on Sunday as LSU took all five singles matches.
The final round of singles was played on Sunday with Tech facing off against host LSU. LSU took four matches in straight sets, while freshman Victoria Flores pushed Jessica Golovin to a three-set battle. After dropping the first set, Flores evened her matched with a 6-2 second set victory, but Golovin claimed the match with a 6-0 third set win.
Tech returns to the courts in January at the Michigan Invitational, Jan. 12-15 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
