>> Winners of six of its last seven, Georgia Tech heads to Athens Tuesday night for the first of three meetings versus Georgia.

>> The 360th game in the all-time series is set for 7 p.m. at Foley Field and can be seen live on CSS with Matt Stewart and Rusty Ensor.

>> The Yellow Jackets have won six of the last 10 and nine of the last 14 in the series and are 40-31 versus UGA under Danny Hall. Tech is 5-1 in its last six regular-season games at Foley Field.

>> Senior Mott Hyde — who should start his 200th career game on Tuesday — hit a team-best .412 last week. Hyde began the year 1-for-19, but in five games since being held out of the lineup, he’s hitting .409 (9-for-22) with three doubles, a triple and a home run.

>> Junior Thomas Smith and freshman Ryan Peurifoy each own seven-game hitting streaks, while Hyde’s hit streak stands at five.

>> Junior Alex Cruz is slated for his second career start Tuesday. Tech’s bullpen ace has pitched 10.1 innings of relief this year with 13 strikeouts, one walk, no earned runs and a save.
