THE FLATS – Former University of South Florida guard and Tampa high school standout Josh Heath elected to transfer to Tech after his father and USF coach, Stan Heath, left the Bulls at the end of the 2013-14 season. He has been granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA and will have three years at Tech beginning with the 2014-15 season.
Coaches like his high basketball IQ and ability to create scoring opportunities and make intelligent basketball decisions.
“He is a great fit for our program in terms of talent, character and academic success,” says Coach Gregory.
