Important Parking & Traffic Information for Homecoming

This week is Homecoming at Georgia Tech, and the annual Ramblin’ Wreck Parade will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. The parade will begin at 8th Street, next to Alexander Memorial Coliseum, and head south along Fowler Street. The parade will turn west onto Ferst Drive and end near Russ Chandler Stadium.

Due to the Ramblin’ Wreck Parade, beginning at 7 a.m., Fowler Street will be closed from 10th Street to 4th Street, and 8th Street will also be closed. The streets will not reopen until very close to game time. Please be aware of this as you travel to campus on Saturday.

Important Information for all Football Season Ticket Holders who have a parking pass for the ALEXANDER MEMORIAL COLISEUM AREA LOT:

Certain areas of the AMC LOT will be used for preparation and line-up of the “wrecks” from 6 a.m. until 9 a.m. These areas will be unavailable for use by reserved parking pass holders until after 9 a.m. on Saturday. Those patrons with AMC Area parking passes thatusually park along 8th Street and in the “Players Lot” are most affected by this event. Those of you with AMC Area Parking Passes who wish to come to the Ramblin’ Wreck Parade or plan to arrive before 9 a.m. may enter the parking lot from 10th Street ONLY. Space will be available in the main AMC Lot area for parking before 9 a.m.

Important Information for all Football Season Ticket Holders who have a parking pass for PETER’S PARKING DECK:

Due to the closure of Fowler Street for the Parade, fans parking at Peter’s Parking Deck on Saturday will need to enter the deck either by taking Techwood Drive to 4th Street, or by taking Atlantic Drive from 10th Street to 4th Street.

Important Information for all Football Season Ticket Holders who have a parking pass for one of the O’KEEFE PARKING LOTS:

Fans parking in one of the O’Keefe lots on Saturday will need to enter the lots by taking Techwood Drive to 6th Street.
