Howard Leads Jackets in Day One of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Sophomore All-American Chaunte Howard tied the meet record with a clear of 6’03.25″ to win the women’s high jump to lead the Georgia Tech men’s and women’s track and field teams at the Penn Relays. Day two of the three-day track meet will continue on Friday, April 23.

Also competing for the Yellow Jackets was senior Priscilla Reed and sophomore Brandy Depland. Reed finished 26th in the women’s 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.73, while Depland posted a mark of 19’01.50″ in the women’s long jump to finish sixth.
